Corrections
Report an error
Accuracy is the entire product. If a number, label, or explanation here doesn’t match the official May 2025 OEWS release — or is misleading in any way — we want to know and we will fix it.
How to report
Email corrections@citysalarydata.com with:
- the page URL;
- the value or label you believe is wrong;
- what you expected instead, ideally with a link to the BLS source (the OEWS tables page or an official BLS profile).
How corrections work
- Verified data discrepancies are fixed by re-running the published pipeline against the official source files — never by hand-editing a number.
- Labeling or wording problems (for example, anything that could read as a city-limits figure) are treated with the same urgency as wrong numbers.
- If BLS itself revises or corrects a release, we rebuild from the corrected files and note the change in the site’s data quality report.
Sanity checks you can run yourself: every page links its exact source, and Sources lists file checksums so anyone can verify the inputs.
