CitySalaryData republishes and presents U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics OEWS wage and employment estimates for informational purposes. The underlying government data are in the public domain. Our presentation, explanations, and site design are ours.

Informational use only

Content here is general labor-market information, not financial, legal, career, or hiring advice, and not a promise of what any person will earn or be offered. Estimates carry error and are revised by BLS on their schedule; see Methodology for what the numbers mean and their limits.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site — though we’d rather you report the problem so we can fix it.

Acceptable use

Don’t misrepresent this site’s figures (for example, quoting a metro estimate as a city-limits or guaranteed salary), don’t scrape at rates that degrade the service, and don’t present the site as affiliated with BLS — it is not. When citing data, cite BLS OEWS as the source; a link here is appreciated but not required.
